If you wish to adopt a puppy mill rescue, do you realize they take a
longer time to housebreak than most dogs and will you allow for
this?
Since puppy mill dogs
have been crated 24/7 their entire lives, mill dogs will not be adopted
into homes where they will be crated for long periods of time.
The
dog you are adopting will be up to date on vaccines,
neutered or spayed, heartworm negative, and most likely micro chipped.
An ID
tag with our rescue's telephone number will be on his/her collar when
he/she goes home with you. We'd appreciate if you would return it as
soon as you get one with your own identification.
If for any reason at any time you are unable to keep the dog you are
adopting the dog MUST be returned to AdorableAdoptables.
The dog must never
be turned over to a shelter or an unapproved home.
Your adoption
donation will be refunded if you decide the dog is not suitable
for you within one month. Please be mindful that puppy mill rescues take longer to settle into
their new homes than other rescued dogs do.
Since we are a foster home in a private residence, appointments must be made to visit with the dogs. Only pre-approved applicants will be permitted to visit.
