RUBY
Ruby is a young adult small chow or chow mix. She is sweet, gentle and
so well behaved. Great with the dogs here and learning to enjoy going
for walks and playing. She is totally vetted . Just a beautiful and
lovely dog If you are interested in giving Ruby a loving home please

toddlers please only older children.

TAZ
Taz is a very handsome ten year old Shih Tzu who was taken with his friend
Linda to a shelter as his owners didn't have time for them anymore. He
is a handsome, active boy who has been fine with the other dogs but
would be better in a home with no cats. He seems fine with older well
behaved children but no toddlers please. He is utd with vaccines, has a very
minor heart murmur and will be getting a dental July 9th. Taz would make
anyone a very good looking, loving companion. He loves to go for walks
or just lie besides you. Please fill in our

SMOKY
Smoky is a sweet lovely little dog who was picked up as a stray by the PSPCA. It is amazing he survived as he is almost blind and deaf but gets
around amazingly well. When found he was loaded with fleas and had some
hair loss which is now growing in. All his blood work came back okay, he
is utd with vaccines and is in good shape except for his vision/hearing
problems which do not seem to bother him in the least. He is supposed to
be between 5-10years old. Smoky would love to have his own family to
retire with and if you are that person or family please fill in our

SUNNY
Sunny was a pathetic matted mess when he arrived here from the PASPCA.
Very sick with kennel cough , matted and had a very bad eye. His teeth are
just terrible. He will be neutered have a dental on the 24th but is
being treated for the eye now and is almost over his kennel cough on
antibiotics for the teeth and cough. . Very sweet dog, he weighs about
15 lbs, is housebroken and good with the other dogs. Seems fine with
people now he is feeling better. He has a beautiful golden coat with the
tzu overbite ( underbite?) one ear is up and the other down. He is
going to be adorable!! He will be available after his neuter
appointment. He is supposed to be between 5-10 years old. If you are

NINA
Nina is a lovely little chihuahua who lived for ten years in a puppy
mill cranking out puppies twice a year. Nina is very sweet but still
very timid. She needs a special home with someone who understands
milldogs and the horrid life they lead. Ten years is a very long time
for a dog to have survived in a mill living in a small cage with no
socialization and little if any vet care. She is not housebroken yet but
does go outside to do her business most of the time ( she has her own
room with Nina with a doggy door into a fenced in yard. It will take her
a while to learn to do her business on a leash but she is very smart
and will learn. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body just is scared
of new things going on. She has been spayed, up to date on all shots,
had a dental and is microchipped. Please read about rescuing mill dogs
before you adopt one. It could be a long time before they are
housebroken and I do not want a mill rescue to go into a home where she
will be crated for any length of time as they spent their lives in a
cage. She will need a fenced in yard, an experienced dog owner
preferably with a socialized dog to help her to learn. they are fine
with other dogs. No small children please and a quiet household would be

BRIE
Brie survived TEN years in a puppy mill. Locked in a small cage 24/7
cranking out puppies with no love, vet care or socialization. She came
here with Nina and I let them stay together as long as they wanted to.
Now Brie is climbing over her baby gate from "her and Nina's room" to be
with the rest of us so I think she would love to have a home for her
own. She is sweet, loving but very nervous of new things. She is one of
my volunteers favorite dogs here. She is learning to walk on a leash,
great with other dogs, pays no attention to cats. She needs a quiet home
preferably with another socialized dog and a fenced in yard. She is not
housebroken yet but does go on piddle pads. I also do NOT want her to go
anywhere she will be crated for any length of time. She has spent
enough time in a cage. She has been spayed, a dental, all shots, hw
negative and a microchip. This little girl would love to have a kind
home so she can forget her miserable life before. If you are interested

MOZART
Mozart is a gorgeous loving adult Saint Bernard. He is housetrained,
loves to walk on a leash. I have started working with him in obedience
which he seems to enjoy and is very smart. He has been thoroughly vetted
and gets along great with all the dogs here. . If you are interested in

DOLLY
Dolly is a total love bug of an adult Saint Bernard. She loves everyone
and everything. She is housetrained, fully vetted and walking well on a
leash. I have started some obediance work with her which she enjoys. She
has good house manners and is great with all the dogs here.She has a
slight deformity of her jaw which causes her tongue to hang out but it
does not slow her down from enjoying her meals. If you would like to
